Throughout your day try treating everyone as if they were someone you love, someone you care about.
For example, if you're in traffic and someone cut you off or is going slow and you missed a light, pretend that person driving is your grandmother.
How would you react? Try it and see just how different your feelings are in that situation.
For me, its way less of a big deal and I have less anxiety or angst.
If you can practice this often your day becomes much happier and has less resistance.
